Explorative Sketching
The iteration process in design is very important so I ended up with somewhere around 80 total concepts for different lamps. This included both concepts for the outdoor lamp and the vibes lamp.
From this point forward I narrowed in on a concept that I was most drawn to and that was my direction for the rest of this project.
Final Concept Direction
This is the final concept exploration page for my lamp. This page includes different ideas for each part of my lamp. The "T" concept, initial mounting plate, bases, circuity, etc.
Low-Fidelity Models
While these low-fi models weren't terribly convincing, it was at this point in the process that I knew I wanted to switch gears slightly. I knew I wanted to work in the direction of a wall sconce, as opposed to a table top lamp.

Battery powered wall sconce, Twists onto external mounting plate, Low profile on/off button, Cast metal "T" component, Acrylic extruded shards.
"Opulence" Meaning, "great wealth, luxury, or an abundant and lavish display of expensive things.
